We believe that you are the reason people choose you, not a brokerage. Brand yourself, within the limits of state laws. Buyers and sellers chose you, not some brokerage, so as the photo shows, your brand should be in the forefront.
Here's a thought: If we asked your clients what brokerage you worked for, less than 20% would know, but they know who you are! Your name and your brand matters to them, not some faceless corporation. In the past, if you wanted to own a brokerage or a part of one, you would have to sign a long-term commitment, fork out a whole lot of money, and devote quite a bit of your time in the management of that business, which takes away from what we should be doing, which is selling homes. While often misunderstood, Revenue Sharing is a sustainable business model with long-term agent benefits. One of the fundamental principles that is overlooked is 50% of all revenue is returned to the agents who build the company. How can they do that? A platform allows this to occur, which is something no brick and mortar business can duplicate due to excessive overhead. Just think how Amazon has taken the middle man (the storefronts) out of the equation and cut costs for the consumer. Agents are the consumer of brokerages. Honestly, all brokerages would change to this model if they could.
